Phoebe Bridgers on the Park at sunset, I think that would actually be a religious experience - don't think there'd be a dry eye in the field. Put Creeper in John Peel, would be a great set. Likewise Charli XCX.

august1
Headlining R+L rules him out for any official slot I reckon. Secret set on the Sunday to pull the crowds away from the pyramid?
ClementsMike
Sold out Heaton Park and then announces R&L. Can’t imagine where they’d put him that wasn’t dangerous. No way he’ll be on a main stage with Noel playing, I’d imagine.
ghostdancer1
he just won't play, it'd be 3 festival in a row.

Glastonbury will surely want to accomodate him. Esp if he's not doing it for the cash, just to play. Any big name who they can get, who wants to, they'd be mad to say "no". He's mentioned playing in a tent a few times on twitter, so I suspect he will be.

John Peel (not-so-)secret set? Or maybe he'll be doing a comedy set in the Theatre & Circus area
eastynh
Would they dare give Liam a secret set at the same time Noel is on??

SwedgeAntilles
Went to see Ezra Furman this week, excellent gig but he mentioned at the beginning it was the last show of the European tour so had thought that ruled him out for next year. However he was announced yesterday for Stag & Dagger in Glasgow in May so presume he will be back in Europe next summer

I'm not really expecting him to play next year now given how big all his other dates to be honest. Will be interesting to see how quickly these sell-out, imagine there are quite a few additional dates to be added including a second Hampden date surely or maybe Murrayfield. Mattymooz
I somehow managed to miss the Roskilde announcement this week and I don't think its been posted here yet Good to see Tyler, The Creator here (Friday 3rd), means he is hanging about so if he will take the lower fee he could play (either sub or third down on TSwiz day would be lovely). Also to add more fuel to the TLC fire, they are doing this too (Thursday 2nd). Alex Cameron is about too so will hopefully play though I would have no idea where to place him (would he be a Park/JP headliner?)

And Alex Cameron isn’t nearly big enough to headline a stage but he’d be a welcome addition.

I noticed that TLC are playing Secret Solstice in Iceland on the 26th June, so if they play it will probably be the Sunday. Alex Cameron would probably be about 4th down on the Park or something, definitely not big enough to headline it but he’d be a good booking. Considering he has his own festival and small clothing empire, he is sorted. Doesnt really have to extort anyone over a gig. If we were talking about Frank Ocean, then yeah, probably the money. And why is nobody hoping for Whitest Boy Alive? That one is exciting since they havent toured in a long time.
