dotdash79
Whenever anyone has asked about Glastonbury tickets, I’ve been honest about what you have to do and how hard it is but that it is possible to get tickets. I hope that appeases the ticket gods. What have you done or will do? Edited September 9, 2019 by dotdash79
dj_conway
I will be on a cruise ship in the middle of the Med if ticket sale date is Sunday 06th. My internet options are going to terrible verging on non existent. I may try to appease the gods by sacrificing my wife to Poseidon. Will be worth it for guaranteed tickets :)

Radi0Head
Amongst my various offerings and rituals I have: bragged to friends about how amazing it is to try and convince them to come, placed myself in a remote location on ticket sale day, and above all have been completing various charitable activities for Greenpeace.

brettredmayne
The only years I have managed to get tickets myself was on my PC, infact was times in a row So after not using my PC for 3 years on Sunday I reformatted it and bought a new keyboard and mouse. Only program installed is notepad and chome. Think this is taking obsession to far
Billy Shears
I've roped a load of my lot in as first timers in the hopes that the ticket gods will look down kindly on newbies and I'll get lumped in with them!! The Whatsapp group has been created and the Registration Spreadsheet is getting sent out this week. Not sure they're prepared for the ticket stress that's to come but the nerves are steadily mounting.
pentura
Surely not being successful in any ticket sale since 2016 is punishment enough and the ticket gods are satisfied with such penance!
priest17
I've given my life to reading/writing endless shite on this website every day in the hope of a minor advantage. Not sure it's worked yet. 1

She learned to live with that. Also, last couple of years she has learned that the one thing that's worse than me getting tickets is me NOT getting tickets. 5 hours ago, shuttlep said: just tell her you are going end of story This. JoeyT
With the Wife due our first child in January it's not so much getting it past the other half but more negotiation on when I go / come home. Thankfully living close helps. Current thinking is down weds morning and home Thursday afternoon. Back down friday lunchtime and then home sunday after the headliner. I've negotiated leaving the North West Thursday lunchtime and coming home Sunday after the headliner. My eldest is at school now, and my work isn't the most flexible so it's a pretty good deal overall! The rest of my group will go down and set up Tuesday night for Wednesday. All dependent on ticket success of course!
RarerThanDandyB
Im going to buy Green Day tickets so that fate will mean I get Glastonbury tickets and be forced to sell the Green Day ones. If I don’t get Green Day in hope for Glastonbury I won’t get Glasto tickets. Hopefully this psychology will work.

Did that last time, gutted to miss out the Wednesday and did slightly over do it Thursday due to my over excitement and urge to catch up but leaving Sunday night didn’t bother me at all.
