#1SzigetFan
2015: 5 (big mistake to stay at Martin Garrix for the fireworks only) 2016: 4 (big mistake to wait for Rihanna to show up) 2017: 2 (P!nk and Kasabian only) 2018: 5 (didn't stay at Dua Lipa & Kygo, meanwhile Kendrick Lamar was worth the wait despite the Rihanna experience) 2019: 2 and a half (I watched only the ending of The National + Florence & the Machine + Foo Fighters) Edited January 24, 2020 by #1SzigetFan

I'd only attend three of them though, four at a push. Agree that it needs a mega name (like Ed Sheeran or Foos) that other festivals have this year (Pearl Jam, Taylor Swift or The Killers perhaps). Also, one of the best decision of my sziget experience was to go see Buika (!!!) instead of Rihanna. Anyone was there? We were not a lot...

#1SzigetFan
Source? There's nothing on Imagine Dragons' website, Songkick or Bandsintown... & Kygo will play at Balaton Sound in July. #1SzigetFan
Creamfields Festival announced Calvin Harris, Carl Cox and Nina Kraviz few days ago & Martin Garrix today. As far as I know the festival has the same owner as Sziget (James Barton is Creamfields founder) and @So Sad Simon said that we'll have Calvin Harris at Sziget too, so let's wait and see what happens. I'll keep my fingers crossed for RHCP.

Bonus points: lost both QOTSA and Placebo for bad time management; 2015: 3 on 7 - Robbie Williams, Florence and Alt J 2016: 5 on 7 2018: 5 on 7, but left Lana half in the performance because I found her dull 2019: 1 on 1 (eheh) - but I guess I'd have done 5 on 7 (Ed Sheeran and Florence, plus Martin Garrix and Posty for the lulz). Funny fact: I had the tickets for the Florence day, but I lost the flight in the morning from Warsaw where I was and had to take a detour to Paris in order to get to the island without having to sell a kidney and eventually I arrived at midnight or so, so I lost the whole day until David August Edited January 25, 2020 by Yelo, the Parmiggiana
eyebrain
Sziget does not have that terrible clashes, so I've ended seeing more headliners than I usually would have. 2014 - 6 2015 - 5 2016 - 4 2017 - 3 2018 - 5 2019 -
dolevshelly
2016: 5.5 of 8 (rihanna, sia, muse, david guetta, hardwell and half of the chem's because of the rain) 2018: 5 of 7 (kendrick, gorillaz, dua lipa, lana, mumford) 2019: 5 of 8(foo, ed, posty, florence and half of gerrix and 21p)
Noeliam
Bigger numbers than I thought! But I guess it's easier to watch a headliner at Sziget than.. Primavera or Glastonbury. and it's nice, I would never pay to see a lot of the headliners I saw (like Korn, Robbie Williams...) but some of them were nice surprises. Mondo-kun
For me: 2016: 6 on 7, left Manu Chao, wish I left Hardwell as well. 2018: 5 on 5, left two days early due to work, watched Shawn Mendes online next evening 😀 2019: 5 on 9, left Ed Sheeran, The 1975, Florence and Twenty One Pilots. Karlos12345
Did they ever announce bands without a teaser? So should we get something today if they really going to announce tomorrow? Edited January 27, 2020 by Karlos12345
Mondo-kun
Slipknot play Budapest on February 4th. Still thinking that with their gap between August 1st and 7th they could be a possibility, especially concerning "lack of headliners".
