Farm Visit

Myself and a friend are going to visit the farm tomorrow with his daughter ... hopefully going to park at the festival office ? as we might be getting Pilton Party tickets ... will it be possible to stay parked there and go for a stroll around the farm ? footpaths if necessary ... we were going to ask in the office ... is the pirate ship accessible to the general public from footpaths ? any advice appreciated thanks all

Nice plan...as it's mid-week I would def check in at the farm office and make sure they are happy with you having a wander...there is often more farm stuff going on than at weekends.  They will also tell you where to leave your car and anywhere you won't be permitted to go due to livestock etc. although I don't think the cows are back out yet.

If you can get up main drag to Greenpeace field then Pirate Ship can be 'boarded'...although again prob best to ask if you can walk off the path to visit it.

cheers ... I presume you just go in through Marys Gate and go right ? to get to festival office

If Mary's Gate is open then yes that would be easiest.....

Yes walk through Mary's gate. Or easier,  park outside the football field/skate park and walk through Tresco gate straight to the farm office on the left hand side of the farm house.

No cows but signs still up saying no access because of the build/ unbuild.

Thanks guys  will ask at the office to check its ok
