Bring back Blur

You can definitely bounce (or pogo, as I prefer) to popscene. Or Song 2 - either of which are infinitely preferable to Parklife!

Song 2 kind of bores me a little these days, it’s a song that’s been overplayed to death.

Popscene is great but it doesn’t get a crowd going like Parklife does.

Not wanting a band to play because they were really good last time is one of the most bizarre comments peddled on this board.

All the time in the world for arguments that it won't better 2009 and so on and so forth but fuck me we need those tunes in that field again Watching 2009 footage tonight, drunk and emotional and

Comfy joggers, blur t-shirt with drool down the front.... You are the person in the photo and I claim my ten pounds

Err - and Parklife hasn't been played to death?

Oh go on then.....
The Universal
This Is A Low
To The End
Tender
Coffee and TV
Beetlebum
For Tomorrow
Out Of Time
Charmless Man
Girls and Boys

This would be about mine – perhaps with Charmless Man, Tender and To The End subbed for Popscene, There's No Other Way and Caramel.

One thing about Blur is: you know where the fucking hits are. All the big ones are the best ones, more or less. It's a handy formula.

I had those 3 in my short list.

You’re right about the big hits being the best, which makes it fairly easy for them to construct a rock solid set list!

Precisely why Blur 22 will be more of a crowd-pleaser than Radiohead 17 (much as I love them)

Unless Damon forgets to switch the screens on. Then all bets are off

Any Blur list without Tender isn't worth reading.

I'd like to repeat my claim that Caramel - Trimm Trabb - No Distance Left to Run is the greatest 3-song-album-closing-run ever (no, Optigan 1 does not count, it's an extended outro to NDLTR cheers)

Astonishingly good.  Having not been in 09 I would absolutely love a Blur set

Inspired by this thread, I'm just about to listen to 13 for the first time in ages!

I’m not going to post a pic of my five month old son on an Internet forum, but I will post what he’s wearing....

I'm not going to attempt it, but would a top 10 list of Damon penned songs have anything non-Blur/Gorillaz in it?

Mali Music has some good stuff on it, I'm not sure TGTBATQ have anything that would cut it. And I'm not keen on his only official solo album. Have I missed anything obvious?

Whilst I’m not committing it to my top ten without due consideration, Ribbons would be very close. It’s gorgeous.
