Could Slipknot do a curated day at somewhere like APE or TRNSMT next year? Not the usual fare they book at these festivals but I dare say with the right undercard they could sell 40,000 tickets at Victoria Park.

Neither of those are really for Slipknot's crowd. I think they would just do their own Knotfest somewhere else - somewhere bigger. Although I am predicting they'll wind up finally headlining Reading.

Have they gone bigger than arenas in this country? London Stadium perhaps?

(Wembley will be out of commission next summer due to the Euros)

Only until mid July.

I don't think they would sell it, they don't sell their Download day tickets with a day of similar bands, Victoria is possible. Still not sure I see Reading happening although it's one band I'd go to Reading for with an undercard more suited to me than Download probably. Get SOAD to sub them.

Football season starts again early August. They won’t have gigs there.

More curiosity than anything. They’re clearly a pretty big deal but I can’t see a natural fit for them anywhere in terms of festivals next year.

Apparently there’s a Huddersfield date on the Saturday as well at the Kirklees Stadium. So the only available date would be Sunday if they were to play at all.

I don’t know 100%. It’s what I’ve gathered through articles and posts. May not all be correct but it’s rumoured to be announced on the 10th so Tuesday.

Unfortunately that's a tour I would have wanted 7/8 years ago, on paper it should be brilliant but Weezer is also I'd be bothered about.

Watched a documentary on Joan Jett and think she would be a good choice has some good tunes and ticks all the boxes.

They've been back together since 1985.  They released an album just last year.
