Tiesto FTW
I think Green Day would be a great add to the 2020 lineup. Such a vast back catalogue, and they do get very involved with the crowd.
vintagelaureate
Didn't someone hint at Metallica doing it as a 'surprise'? With Lars good relationship with the festival? I'd like Greenday to play, a blast from my youth, but surely they'd be headlining The Other? Frank Carter maybe...?
Cian T
Rammstein playing Cardiff on the 14th of June, reckon they’re in with a shot?

They are playing Nijmegen June 24th, then Dusseldorf June 27th and 28th, so i think that rules them out.

Remember Rob being vocal about wanting to play in 2014 when Metallica topped the bill (or at least something about how it should’ve been a British metal band there instead) so I’m sure they’d be up for it, although not really sure how they’d go down. Be a laugh either way.
priest17
The only Priest I'm arsed about seeing at the fields is yours truly. Some of those band names are mad ting, IS one of them called Sooom? and Nenom? Can't even attempt the bottom one.

I have a strong feeling they'll be around next year, having finished a new album. Patton and the guys seem tick some boxes. Hard hitting, but with enough mainstream appeal (Epic, Midlife Crisis, Easy). Critically acclaimed. Charismatic frontman. Having never played Glasto before. My only reason to doubt is that they may be too big for this. If anything I'd say they're too small fry for this, at least these days. Their reunion was ten years ago now and even then the same year they headlined Download they only headlined the NME tent at Reading/Leeds (to pitifully small crowds). They've got a few well known songs but I really don't think they'd be much of a draw in this slot as opposed to some of the other names being thrown about, although other than Iggy they'd suit me a lot better. Gnomicide
The last time I saw FNM was at Reading in 1990 (I think). I'd be happy to see them again but it would have to be a set heavy on the 1st 2 albums.

I wouldn't be at the Pyramid for either personally. With Iggy being predicted every year it certainly seems as though Glastonbury aren't that bothered about him or the other way I guess
