There are a lot of 'rock' bands out there, but this slot seems to be for a particular brand of vintage hard rock. Given that, it's hard to imagine who could be considered a big booking who still isn't considered a headliner. But what about Lenny Kravitz or Santana? TKOCF
Imagine War Pigs on the pyramid. Just imagine. That would be a moment.

priest17
Something big eh? Like 7 members big? Maybe 2 drummers? There is no Planet B.

mattiloy
It looks line Ozzy has shows in the US next year around the glasto dates. So my secondary and tertiary punts: Alice Cooper? Iggy Pop?

eastynh
Rammstein active in Uk around Glasto.
deadpheasant
Way too early to speculate. Rammstein are playing in Coventry the weekend before so let's just say it's them.

Gingerfish79
Green Day, Ozzy, Def Leopard, Pumpkins. All would be great. Anybody for some Steel Panther??? Also (and a crossover to the headliners thread), Slipknot would absolutely own the Pyramid. I didnt consider myself a fan but I thought they were incredible at Download. Hugh Jass
Might stretch the definition of “rock” somewhat but... Bryan Adams?
Gnomicide
Judas Priest. The only band playing Green Manalishi on The Pyramid next year.
HeyPorter
Surprised there’s no shouts for Marilyn Manson. Not a big fan but he would be a must-see in that slot.

Good call that, probably about the right size, enough of a curiosity factor to bring in the non fans. I'd be happy with that.

For me, they're another that fall into the "should headline Other" category. Although admittedly they were incredible subbing Reading back in 2007. Also, to the shouts of Green Day I really think they'd headline. Edit: Weezer are still my bet. Edited July 17, 2019 by zeppelin

Marilyn is great when it comes to covers and that is a decent one, his version of Cry Little Sister would go down a treat too.
CaledonianGonzo
Fucking surprised that #MeToo hasn't taken Marilyn Manson straight to career purgatory. I'd hope he's persona non grata at the farm.
