Aye - he shouldn't have to go that route, but Erasure still shift tickets. They sold out the Usher Hall and the Corn Exchange last couple of times they came through town.

Banarama at the Avalon was a definite step down from the early Pyramid slot they'd probably have had if Siobhan was still in the band.

Yeah it depends what's happening next summer if it's Erasure they could hit up West Holts or Pyramid early doors if it's Erasure's Andy Bell then that's Avalon or Acoustic territory.

Do OMD have other bops on the same level as Enola Gay? That's the only one I know, but it's the greatest song of all time.

Probably just me, but have a massive soft spot for this one

Working at home so taking the chance to play through some of the bands I've discovered either at Glastonbury or on these boards.  Massive long shot but......what chance The Congos making a return? They were an absolutely perfect Sunday afternoon act in 2013. Still active, playing Nomade Festival in France this year, and would be a welcome return to some decent reggae on the main stages.

San Salvador. I saw them on Sunday afternoon at Boomtown

Absolutely incredible. Such a shame only 100 or so watched them. They had been on about 10 mins when we got there. Absolutely mesmeric performance. I knew nothing about them, we were just walking past. Stayed for the whole thing. They'd be brilliant on the West Holts.

Can't really find any evidence that they're touring so this one's quite speculative, but I recall Run DMC were supposed to play at Kendal Calling last year. Anyone know what their situation is? Is it a bit of a stretch to question whether they could appear at the farm?

As soon as I saw them on the bill I knew they would drop out. That was a really weak lineup.

Been listening to this album this week which strikes me as a good shout for an early slot on WH.

Welsh language Tropicalia by the dude off of Colorama, recorded in Rio with a bunch of crack samba sessioneers.
