Wish I’d seen ... instead of...

Hair braiding instead of Andy from Cbeebies.

The queue was fucking massive by the time he'd finished.

That said, he does know how to entertain a tent full of toddlers (and embarrass parents) by rapping about prehistory. Some great call and response stuff:

Him: "Australopithecus!

Us: "HALF HUMAN!"

Other than that, not a single clash-related regret all week. Loved it. Absolutely loved it.

No regrets but in hindsight would have watched Frank Turner instead of hanging around the fringes of Fatboy Slim.

And got times mixed up so got to Lizzie an hour early, had passed Low Island on Greenpeace on the way. Liked their sound, wish I’d hung about cos I wasn’t arsed with Slowthai.

This is why I hate catching up on iPlayer....

Feels like cheating on someone, but fuck me I wish I'd gone to that IDLES set instead of Dub Pistols. And I love the Pistoleros.

was that a 'live' show of the soundsystem? were they good but not idles good?

Nope, full live band set. And they were great, so much fun every time I see them especially in the Glade. Had a blast.

But that IDLES set looked fantastic. And it's very likely the Pistols will be back in the next couple of years. Hey ho.

DubBazza and the lads were popping. First time I've seen them at the Glade and they gave our Friday night a wee kick up the arse just when it needed it.

Didn't realise you were there Calgon. Not that I would have known!

8pm was a good slot for them, started the Friday night off nicely

You know what, I had some major clashes going on, and I would've loved to see Lizzo after watching on IPlayer, but I loved everything I went to see. I have never left Glastonbury with regrets. Even taking a couple of hours to sit in the shade and drink cider, missing Sigrid and Lewis Capaldi...I enjoyed what I was doing at the time.

Not a regret as such and wasn't awful, but Hot Chip instead of Sean Paul. In the build up to the fest we were set on the former, however made a last minute decision to bask in teenage nostalgia... unfortunately he didn't take the roof off as we were expecting. Some big cheers during the opening 8 bars of several tunes, otherwise flat throughout.
