2nd Barrier at front of Pyramid stage

Not sure if this has been noted before. Watching the highlights of Glastonbury and during Sheryl Crow’s set it looks like the 2nd barrier back has quite a big space in it with security guards standing in it. Is this new or am I seeing it wrong. Didn’t notice it when I was there

It's been there for ages but it did look a wee bit wider this year. I think in other years - maybe 2016 - it was also fairly big-boned. No doubt it'll shrink back down again. It's probably not being laid down to precise measurements.

On a Pyramid stage topic, liked the metal pathway down the field being introduced, for accessibility. Imagine it didn't stay clear for headline sets though.

It’s been there for a good few years. Didn’t Bruce Springsteen head down there during his show?

Other Stage had a second barrier as well. Good place to stand behind. Security guys were very obliging filling up people’s water bottles.
