Bixer
Didn’t realise it was a real thing until the past couple of days! Anyone else suffering?
c8lin
Been coughing up phlegm, feeling incredibly nauseous, sore throat, sweats, and vivid nightmares since yesterday morning. Surprisingly Monday I felt fine. What's most annoying is that I took the festival easy to try avoid flu! Hope you get well soon!
andyhh
I have it too. First time from a festival as well. I'm really not looking forward to going back into work tomorrow, even after going through my emails this afternoon.

AmyShambles
I am suffering. Coughing up shite off my chest, runny nose, sore and tickly throat. Everybody in the office must have been pissed off with my constant coughing/sniffling today.
Spindles
When we mix at a festival we share viral material, bacteria and fungi that is local to ourselves, which our own population has grown accustomed to. When we get back we sometimes have to let our bodies adapt to the newcomers. It is the same as freshers flu. Don't stress, take it easy, eat well and keep hydrated, you'll be fine. liame
Surely the dust has got to be playing a part too?

It is essentially the dried particles from under the feet of a cow farm, so again more unusual fungal spores and bacteria for your body to learn from. dccool
I feel OK. Well down in the dumps but not ill. My employee got taken to hospital last night and has picked up a virus. Hes being sick and cant eat anything without bringing it back up. A few other people in our group have got coughs and colds but nothing too serious. Bags73
Got a terrible sore throat on Sunday night and this was followed up by me being full of phlegm and being weak as kitten. I've now got a terrible cough. Slept all afternoon today Not been into work.
Ozanne
Some of those symptoms might be a result of hay fever too, I find the gravel feeling in the through can be quite similar.
zeppelin
I'll be honest, I overindulged... Big time. Both Monday and yesterday I was unable to hold down food or fluids. This morning I woke up as a dizzy mess but am finally able to eat and drink. The worst thing is I have an important job interview tomorrow afternoon and it's meant my preparation has been less than ideal ?
wairey
Other than achy knees and feet, this is the first time I'm not feeling ill from a festival! I wonder if it weirdly helped having a cold until the Tuesday before Glasto...
scaryclaireyfairy
I have a bark from smoking and the dust and my immune system is currently at battle with something or other. I'm not sure which side is winning.
kaytee...
My hayfever coupled with the dust has left me with a really bad chest. Plus I seem to have developed a small lump behind my ear which i'm hoping is a result of this and eventually disappears. Never typing those symptoms into google again ??♀️
HansGruber
I keep getting the feeling of being spaced out for a few hours almost like I'm about to start floating and then dead tired, I was stuck on the toilet all last night and most of this afternoon as well. Absolutely dreading work tomorrow.

MilkyJoe
I thought I had hay fever despite having never suffered from it in my life. This thread explains everything. Except maybe the diarrhoea...

Cammers
Luckily spent the first half of this year with a constant stream of colds which built my immune system up but a combination of awesome bands and Saturday silent disco left me with zero voice for Sunday. I remember trying to sing/scream to BMTH and it was basically a whisper.
