Depends which way you're walking. If going towards WV then yes you are correct. The central ones were the 2man scouts this year but they do change the layout slightly each year

Anyone remember if you had to pay in full for WV tents or was it a deposit scheme?

A couple of our friends want to stay with us (provided we get tickets), but they aren’t 100% sure they can come just yet. 

Would they be able get a refund if their plans don’t work out?

you pay in full when you book, but you can get a refund later in the year, up to the May cut off date, I think

We've stayed there before but I couldn’t remember the procedure.

It's a fair chunk of change but we did it our WV 6 man tent on the credit card last year to spread the cost a bit.

 

Really can't decide what to do this year, that hill was pretty fucking tough, but the view from the space near the food stalls in WV was a great way to start and finish the day

Was Ok this year but I can imagine that road being a bit skitey in a muddy year

I think if you’re doing the trip once per day it’ll be fine, even in more challenging conditions. 

But I say this as someone who is fairly fit and able, so potentially more of an issue for those not quite as mobile.

was fine in 2016, it's basically all just stone/concrete/gravel....
