Didn't realise they'd sell out that quickly Surely there'll be secondhand tickets going closer to the day, right? Hopefully you'll have more luck than I did , I forgot to get tickets for the leadmill last year so went down on the day and hung around for hours in the rain before with no joy what so ever , even asked the singer as he walked past with his girlfriend he looked at me like I'd shit in his mouth and kept on walking , bit disappointing as I'd championed them to lots of people, a small sorry pal nothing doing would have been nice ,never mind it's not put me off and will be seeing them in Sheffield the night before my birthday so should be good ,ps they where brilliant in the JP one of my highlights. mattiloy
+ a really great second album. A relief. Theyre the real deal. Vive les Fonts!
Hugh Jass
I had completely forgotten this was out today until I got an email yesterday telling me my vinyl had been dispatched. Just waiting for the postman now.

Fanbloodytastic
I somehow completely missed these at Glastonbury last year but I was blown away by their JP set on the iPlayer so I went ahead and nabbed a ticket for their Norwich show next spring. Got the new CD on the way so will be spinning that this weekend.

AlexOvd
Brilliant album. This lads are a must to watch next year in the festival. That Park set will be something else.
priest17
That Brudenell gig would have been proper top, my only busy day all week and that comes out. Ah well.
ghandi
The second album is pretty different to the first but equally as good, only listened to it in the car today so need further inspection but liking it.
Hugh Jass
Gave the vinyl a first listen earlier and very much enjoyed it. Not as immediate as the first one but I suspect it’ll go deeper.
SighMo
I was nervous of this release having loved Dogrel so much. I've played it half a dozen times through the day and it's definitely growing. Lucid Dream is standing out for me. I've got tickets for the Bournemouth gig. Bit pissed off there's no download with the vinyl though. Edited July 31, 2020 by SighMo
Superscally
I think we can categorically state this is the best album released in the last two weeks. 1
The Dawg
New album is treat to the ears and very different to Dogrel. Seen them a few times and didn't fancy the souless Manc Academy so I bought Berlin tickets instead! Everything crossed.

Will have to go back to the debut at some point. Edited August 1, 2020 by Fanbloodytastic
Hugh Jass
Listened to A Hero’s Death a few times now and have to say I’m loving it. I like that they didn’t just go out and make Dogrel II. There’s a lot more depth to this one. You can really tell they’ve been touring with The Murder Capital.
dentalplan
Oh, that is fantastic post-punk! Obviously it's not really great, like Girl Band or Protomartyr, but for Fontaines DC... brilliant!

Hugh Jass
None of this is answering my question and I’m still none the wiser as to dental’s enjoyment of the album.
Quark
Do not try to understand Dental, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realise the truth. There is no Dental. Then you'll see it's not Dental that enjoys the album, it is only yourself.
