They headlined Hyde Park last year, which makes them a few notches up the success tentpole from yer average WH act.

That was a Radio 2 show which is a fair bit different to your normal Hyde Park gig. Its an outlier like Big Weekend is.

Tho actually I would concede they're maybe a bit too big for WH. Just seems a way better fit than Other.

Very pleased about this news. I've been a fan since the 80s yet inexplicably have never seen them live! (maybe because none of my friends are into them). So, as long as they don't clash with Macca, I'm there.

Agreed, that the interview nails them on. It reminds me of an interview with Cillian Mrphy a few years ago. He was asked if he would be in the then forthcoming Dark Night Rises, his answer: "I can't say, I've signed a non-disclosure agreement!"

I think they are fantastic Friday night other headline option but I’ve got two members of my group that are sceptical about Kendrick and big PSB fans. So I don’t know whether this is a good thing or not?

will probably be seeing Kendrick on my ones but who cares.

Anyone had a listen to their album that was released today yet?

Initial thoughts  -  I think it's good. Definitely not overwhelmingly so, but I'm enjoying the majority of it.

Not got to it yet but it's in the queue!

Waiting for Mr Amazon to deliver my vinyl version.

Surprisingly good tbh, wasn't expecting much.

Wil-o-the-wisp, Dreamland and Wedding in Berlin were the highlights for me.
