Emotional moments

I had a few moments. more than normal.

Ocean eyes from Billy as expected, Monday Sunset and walk around the site, couple getting engaged on stage and a few others.

I did have issues with Hayfever and dust and sun cream in the eyes over the Thursday and Friday and my eyes were streaming during Bjorn Again. Someone gave me a hug as I think they thought I had lost it

The Good the Bad and The Queen when they sung with the Welsh male voice choir was certainly a magical moment.

Two stand out ones for me, both involving people unknown to me.

First was at George Ezra, he was singing a song I think called Be My Girl. Ahead of me there was a young girl maybe about 6 or 7 being held by her dad. the were jut staring at each other while singing along and was such a beautiful moment. 

Next was the young girl at the front of Sigrid who was living her absolute best life. I was getting emotional at how utterly in the moment she was. Glad through the power of social media they are now meeting up!

Haven’t read this whole thread but for me the amazing girl signing Stormzy and Alex brought a tear to my eye afterwards. Wasn’t at either! Both legends

Beans On Toast at Avalon. Was playing a song about how having a kid changed his life, a guy in front of me was with his two kids and he started balling his eyes out hugging his embarrassed kids, this set me off, then my mate who didn't know what was going on saw me getting emotional then started crying too...

 

 

We were very fragile from the night before.

I didn't cry as much as I usually do. Thursday morning sat at the top of the park, sitting in silence watching the site wake up, my eyes may have leaked a little bit. It's quite breathtaking isn't it? Beans on Toast at Greenpeace on Thursday afternoon... I can't pinpoint a particular song, I was just generally overwhelminly happy. The Killers. I was belting out the tunes and jumping around and suddenly just stopped and sobbed! My heart swelled and It was purely euphoric. Tame Impala, looking up to the sky and watching the lasers, that set could've gone on forever in my opinion. And finally... Leaving. But they were sad tears. I cried everytime I said goodbye, whether to a person or a stage.

I got soaked in Otter when Scott wobbled but we got him back to the stage
