Love to all.

Whenever I've listened to a Maribou State tune it's not made me run to another. But they've started more dancing then I've seen elsewhere today, as the temperature lowers of course, and it's sounding goooood.

BBC2 starts in a couple of minutes.

She sounds good, but her constant bossing of sound, backing singers, musicians, etc... doesn't promote a good vibe.

Felt like it picked it towards the end. She nailed the last few tunes. There's definitely a correlation with feeling less like death as it went on ?

Wish the BBC would concentrate on showing us what’s happening on the stages rather than their own sessions

its always annoyed me in the past when i've got home and watched the highlights shows, half of the highlights are of their own sessions rather than whats actually happened at the festival

Curious how Lauryn Hill is coming across. Granted I'm melting but idk, feels a bit meh. Might be better if you're home and not dying but it's the only disappointment of a stellar day imo! It's not bad by any means but I was expecting a real highlight of the weekend.

I was under the impression that there was something not right with the sound as she appeared to keep pointing to the mic and the monitors below her whilst looking over her shoulder. I could be wrong though.

This is a real difficult one for me. I had a ticket this for this year, but for some reason the excitement wasn’t the same as the other years. I didn’t have that buzz when I was successful in October, and the excitement never quite ramped up like it normally did. I still can’t pin point what it was, but I decided to not pay my balance and let someone else have the ticket who really wanted it. So I booked a holiday instead, and now here I am, laid in my hotel contemplating if I made the right decision, because it’s truly hit home that I’m not at the greatest place on earth.

If anything, it’s taught me a very harsh lesson, and I know which decision I’ll be making this October!

Currently watching Jon Hopkins from West Holts on iPlayer.  There is something about that stage that just invites an amazing party atmosphere.  So wish I was there right now.  Currently covering an Lush 3 by orbital B-)

Idles absolutely smashed it earlier as well.

Agreed, Hopkins would have been my choice if I was there and have real mixed feelings watching this, brilliant set but really wish I was there. His set and Idles have been the best things I’ve watched today.

I watched the first bit of Tame Impala and wasn’t too into it. They’ve got a great light show but other than that they don’t come across as a particularly exciting live act for me, although I appreciate it’s probably a lot better when you’re in the field.
