Also spoke to the steward at the front of PGC who said that they're looking at opening at 630/7 all being well

That’s the front of the snake last night, PGB is about 50 metres beyond this point.

The official opening time is 8am, right?

Would love it if they opened early but I always thought they only did so in exceptional circumstances like the heat of 2017 and mud of 2016?

This is gate D been here since 6. Similar spot to this last time half way up the hedge by the carpark and took about an hour and a half once the gates open.

The queue now goes back to the top of the carpark and around the corner.

D doesn’t look bad from where I am but I’m just on corner before it turns up to the snake - just a lot of people queuing.
