Interested that she has six siblings, who, as far as I can tell anyway, have nothing to do with the fest.

Also, did she rewrite history a bit re Jay-Z? Not sure he smashed it quite as much as he claims. I thought it was generally regarded to have dropped off a bit once he'd stop taking the piss out of Noel.

not correct. One of them is in charge of the Merch, for example.

I'm not entirely sure how come the youngest child ended up taking over Dad's business, but my guess is that the others had established their own lives/work and weren't hugely interested in running a fairly precarious business, while Emily was still very young without an established career, and at the time Emily took over it wasn't going to be a long-term thing.

Or Emily was his favourite child. With 6 kids its bound to happen

I had no idea that she had six siblings. I don't know why, but in my minds eye, I had her down as an only child - from the current particular pairing, at least. Mind you ME obviously does like the ride, so it's no wonder.

Father and daughter seem to have a great relationship. Michael regularly saying, “Thank God for Nick”, or what he said in the BBC program about Jay Z, “Emily was absolutely right on that one”.... For a parent to be so approving is alien to me.

It all went down very well in the bit of crowd I was in. Everyone had a great night.
