That’s the stage I’m probably gonna get the most joy out of seeing the lineup for, not arsed about predicting it mind.
priest17 755 Report post Posted November 7 Bills green sets them up nicely for a crows nest gig as well. They're Aussies so I'm not expecting them, I saw them last night though and they were bloody incredible.

SwedgeAntilles 2,425 Report post Posted November 13 Kendrick vs King Gizz clash would be a pisser but I'd be delighted with Macca and Thom as my headliners on Saturday and Sunday

God that Sunday pyramid in 2016 was really naff. Jeff Lynne playing in the pouring rain, Ellie Goulding being really awful, Beck playing to a bunch of Coldplay fans. To be fair Coldplay were pretty good but that is probably the most naff pyramid day I’ve seen in all my years at Glasto. 2013 Sunday in a close second. MassiveGypsum 0 Report post Posted November 13 I may be overestimating with Charli... I feel like I’ve seen some talk on here that she could get that high placement but perhaps it’s optimistic. I’m actually a big Beck fan and I feel bad shafting him there... I reckon a higher slot on JPT would be a walk for him.

I must have been in the minority but I loved Jeff Lynne even in the rain. Would have preferred sunshine but you make do with what you get.

Friday 2019 pretty appalling and worse than both of those imo. A relatively weak headliner, Ezra, Bastille, Odell, a cover band and a terrible Lauryn Hill performance (strong act on paper though). Sheryl Crow the only good one on there. Vampire Weekend, Nick Cave and First Aid Kit in 2013 is much better. Ezra, Stormzy and Bastille whilst not completely to the tastes of the forum are BBC darlings and provided some strong Glastonbury moments. Whilst awful for me - watching this back and really studying the reaction of the crowd this is the kind of performance which causes a surge in ticket sales
