oh shit I meant to take out that Neil Young shout because it's dumb but I won't think of another sub in the next 15 minutes, agh

edit: let's just see how it plays out. I think he's the type of artist that might do it and not give big fucks about the headline slot.

That isn't something I expected to provoke jollies.

Their stock has definitely fallen since 2015 tbf, been playing small fests and venues over the last few years. I don't think 3rd down is particularly unrealistic, I'd imagine they'd be pretty comfortable about it too.

Eh, not too much for me to get excited about here. Not that it’s particularly unrealistic or anything, but also looks a bit ‘generic Glastonbury’ to me, which tbf is probably what we’ll end up with if they’re looking to make it a summation of the fifty previous years.

Metallica and Neil Young definite highlights, and they’re probably two of the more unrealistic additions.

Clash city there for me.

Foals vs Bjork would be cruel on Friday.

Wolf Alice and Elbow vs PS Broadcasting and Thom at West Holts...the pain!

Saturday a bit quieter until ....Santana vs The Pixies?

Gonna be that guy where... is Nick Cave? Probably more likely than Bjork.

Also Coldplay being the heritage headliner? The boomers do not love to see it.

Have you gone off the idea of Lana subbing then?

What is exciting is that we have a lot of big names on the potential list. It’s not late enough in the year to rule most of them in or out yet so it’s exciting.

Lana, Nick Cave, Foals, The 1975, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Kendrick, Neil Young, Bon Iver, Noel Gallagher, Pet Shop Boys, Royal Blood, The Prodigy... Metallica... the list goes on.

Unless we’ve got a desert trip/ live aid on our hands there isn’t enough room for all of them. Some are just outright not playing even though their name is being thrown around.

Exciting!

What am I missing? The last tour date scheduled so far is the 17th June?

He’s not for me but there is a pyramid sub / other stage headline slot with his name on.

They’re doing a two month tour that ends in Tel Aviv nine days before the festival, with many dates that cancel out major festival appearances. It seems as if that’s the end of the tour and they’re not going to hang around for the remainder for a one-off appearance, I’m sure.

They’d have routed it better if it was gonna pass thru Glastonbury, and I would expect a period of downtime for the band and staff to go home for a bit before the next leg of the tour.

Yeah defo. If she was too expensive this year, she’s not going to do it next year now that the world has realised she’s queen shit of fuck mountain.

I disagree, they aren’t just gonna pack up their summer tour in June. End of June to July is peak of the season.

I reckon there are more dates to be announced including festival appearances.
