Just goes to show that location really does make all the difference at these outdoor venues.  Tricky thing with seated gigs is you can't move around to find a better spot (although I noticed lots trying!)

interesting about the sound complaints, hasn't that been a thing over the past decade-plus of gigs at the new Wembley? I've only seen gigs at the older one back in the 20th century, where I was always on the pitch, but it seems like there have been issues. I recall Springsteen's return to Wembley a few years ago had some sound complaints by some who were there, especially after they released that show as one of his live archives

I also have no complaints regarding sound, however I was lucky enough to be in block A1 right at the front, so if the sound was shit there then there really would have been issues.

Years of going to gigs at Wembley old & new & for all but one the sound varied from OK (queen) to below par (foos) to bloody awful (GnR)

Floyd & Waters absolutely nailed it every time, but they spend the money. It can always be done if you want to.

I was in block 503 with friends in 509 and 205 - we weren’t aware there were any issues with the sound

They're finally playing Calgary tonight after rescheduling the original date twice! I nabbed a decent ticket for $70 CAD and am pretty excited.

Most of the better seats are around 260 CAD but they started selling off single seats for 70 yesterday. Luckily I noticed 2 singles that were on adjacent rows and grabbed one for me and my friend! Saved quite a bit of money by doing it that way.
