Just that Prince had said yes but it fell apart a few days later.

The bullet proof vest thing was Susan Vega who wore one when she played as someone had threatened to shoot her.

No real tea - just that they were bending over backwards to get him and he agreed for a couple of days and then changed his mind.

Thanks both. Still upsets me to this day about Prince. Would have been one of the all time greats if he had brought his funky A game.

They're past their best long ago, was watching some of their Pinkpop set and it wasn't great, but what can one expect 70+ year olds to sing like. They should have played years ago, it'll be an anticlimax if they play it now.
