dingbat2
This is ok, I think it's more odd because it's a midweek game st 6pm than anything, The background hum works ok but doesn't reflect the excitement when something happens, I was wondering whether they would be better to have cameras in say 10 fans homes from each side and then motion detect their reaction and/or use sound detection when something happens, so have a roar when some of them jump up based on how much they move out of their seats and how quickly/loud? Make it automated so its instant. At the moment it seems like canned laughter with some neutral bloke pressing a button (late) when something happens. They could also weight it a bit in favour of the home team

jyoung
That's proper harsh on Sheffield United. They would be in 5th place had that goal been given.

I bravely watched the first few years post Fergie, the real horror show years. Utd are great again now anyway, Ole at the wheel etc. I didn't even have enough interest last night to make "decent attendance for the Ethiad" jokes! VAR has totally sucked the life out of the game.
