Volunteering- Is the whole festival open Tuesday?

Hello!

 

I am volunteering this year with Oxfam- my first time and I can't wait!

 

Anyway, I have friends going (not volunteering) that have a child.

 

Would I be able to set a tent up for them on the Tuesday? (that's when my volunteering starts) it would really help them out

Any tents set up in public areas will be removed by Security when they do a sweep of the site on Tuesday night.

You could potentially nip on site early doors and set up a tent just as gates are opening. But there's a decent chance you'll have a 6am Wednesday shift so you'd need to account for that.

Yeah, 2017 I wandered through Mary's Gate at about 11am on Wednesday having had a late one, and set up my mate's tent in Big Ground with reasonably little problem.
