Train Tickets

Hi Everyone

I have finally locked in plans to travel back from the festival to London via train (bus is too expensive at this point).

Theres off-peak tickets still available at a reasonable price, which will cover me for a few hours of available trains to get out of Castle Cary.

Is it going to be doable getting a shuttle from the site and onto a train with a few hour range? Or is it just too crazy?

Also, seat reservations are long gone. Is it madness to try and get on a train without one?

Travelling from Australia but drove last time, so just trying to cover bases.

my experience of the trains home -

At 10am queuing for 2 hours

Tickets as long as you have one no one cares if its peak , super peak etc apart from 1 st class - only those with a valid ticket shall be allowed

Ticket inspectors on the trains are non existent or can't be bothered

Reservations - meh people sleeping everywhere and sleeping mostly

You'll be fine!
