I know there's the Faith No More exception but I don't think Deftones will also play both fests. RATM looks unlikely too, I think they would have played at least one metal festival such as Hellfest or Download. I think smaller bands such as Big Thief and Perfume Genius are also contenders. Can't wait for next week ! Edited January 11, 2020 by polnico
Karlos12345
I know it‘s been said RATM won‘t come to Europe in 2020. They‘d be at Download, Hellfest, etc. But what if they come over for a very short run of exclusive shows? BST Hyde Park, Werchter, Mad Cool? I still can‘t believe they skip the big money. To those who like that sort of music obviously, but I travelled to RW in 2018 just for PJ and I'm sure there are others as mad as I am. I remember seeing placebo/foo fighters/RHCP at V in 2001. Still one of the best single nights I've had at a festival 😁

Shame.

Timetables took extremely long to be released (somewhere in May, while full line up and stage splits had been known since March), presumably because RW tried to change their minds. The setting of the Barn resulted in an excellent Pixies show though (whereas they can be a bit hit or miss). I want to see them again wherever they play, but I think another Barn show will be much more memorable than a main stage show. HerrBuergermeister
What about Paul Weller? He is playing at MadCool.
EV123
Paul Weller is playing in Brussels in june, so very likely that he's ruled out. Liam plays in Belgium in february, so if he plays, you'll probably have to wait for the announcement till then as this date is far from being sold out. Karlos12345
Not sure if RHCP add that many dates to their summer tour. Especially so far apart from each other. And there are rumors for Sziget and R/L. Making new music seems to be priority. With Frusciante being back, they have to start over their work on the new album.
