Dennisf
Again no 'headliner' in the announcement... Probably big name after them (not surprising since they didn't actually became "bigger" as they were in 2017..)

pigital
Even though they're great, I really hope they don't close the festival on Sunday.
Ken19
They are one of the headliners off course... Great name. The band was very impressed by their show in 2017. The organisation was impressed by the professionalism of SOAD and their crew. Happy that they are back. xydroh
hoping to see SOAD close the festival, would hate to see a repeat of 2017 where linkin park had to play for half a field because everyone was already leaving. volbeat headliner in front of SOAD would be ideal
frontsidecab
Would be surprised if they were the closing set but certainly deserving of the headline status and set length.

heti
@Ken19 are SOAD closing Main Stage or is there someone else in the sleeve? Anyway, great booking !
BlackFoxx
SOAD and Faith No More or Foo Fighters before would be great way to end the festival.

My highlight of 2017 was seeing the face of Serj from SOAD. He was grinning and just looking around at the audience, as if in disbelief at the massive crowd going nuts and singing along to their songs. It was a great addition to the day! So glad they are back! I expect a band going in Klub C to follow SOAD officially closing Werchter?

Festilitis
@Ken19 can we expect a closing act after SOAD or will they be the fire that will close the 2020 festival?

turnero
Guys, anyone of you know about Tame Impala doing festivals in Europe? By now, they're only announced for All Points East in May...
Archi
The word "headliners" (such as "headlining") lost a bit of its meaning. A few years ago, when we said a band is the "headliner", it was the main band, the closing act, the biggest band on the day. Now, you have lot of festivals and band who used it everywhere... I remembered Parkway Drive last Summer announced they were headlining Hurricane/Southside but they didn't. In Belgium, a small festival called Durbuy Rock, announces many bands as headliners. Here, System Of A Down announced they're headliners but Rock Werchter didn't. For sure, they'll be co-headline. But would be great to be more clear from the beginning. Some fans could be disappointed later to discover that a band or another are not main act with the longest set. I've serious doubt about SOAD, a metal band, closing Rock Werchter. But Volbeat closing the festival would be more weird for me!

Ken19
Tame Impala is my favourite band. But have been told that they will focus in 2020 on arena’s with a few exceptions, 2021 festivals. But that can have been changed by now. 1
