Good morning peeps

getting this in before the deluge.

RAM jam jar = is showing 30mm. Which means we have had further evaporation in the last 24 hours

well sticky stick = well dry. Base hardening. Mud thick for 3 inches.

Big Dog paws= warm and sweet smelling

RAM jam jar has been joined by the gherkin pot. This will be measured then emptied every morning to record 24 hours of rainfall.

shit  ....any more measures and I’ll need to retire just to keep up!

I'd like to thank my family, my dog and myself.

Glastonbury first day of the festival two efesters greet one another amongst a crowd, look to the skies and say

"So, the gherkin pot was right then"

"All hail the gherkin pot and big dog"

Others think, wow they are hitting it pretty hard already....

The avocado is freaking me out.  I was fine with the fruit, but an avocado?  But then again, I'm not sure if the avo is a vegetable or a fruit?  We used to call them avocado pears yeah, but are they actually fruit, or some kind of herb or nut or something? According to Wikipedia they're a berry and not a drupe - what the fuck is a drupe, and for that matter what's a shitting 'imperceptible endocarp'.  Is a berry a fruit?  I'm off to find a cup of coffee...

In short - any chance of a clearly fruit fruit tomorrow?

That will depend on the fruit bowl, as the Co-op hasn’t opened it’s doors here in Pilton yet.

I am also a little bit unsettled by the avocado. They are weird things.

However I am willing to man the feck up and get over my avocado fear, as it is clearly a thing of wonder in this situation.

All Hail the Mighty Jars!

Lots of green, reptilian-looking things getting involved now. I like to think my shrine last week may have helped to subliminally lay the foundations for the inclusion of the pickled gherkins.

Live scenes (an hour ago :D )

Surely this isn't live because the sides are on the other stage here and on the webcam they aren't yet?

EDIT:

Ignore me I'm an idiot, this isn't the other stage.

Looks like it will be grim today/tomorrow but the Thursday/Friday it's dry with sun so that should level out. Next Monday is the biggest concern for me at the moment

You’re shrine was mighty fine and you could be completely correct. On the other hand it was the only jar in the recycling box as they emptied it on Friday.😃

the avocado seemed to colour match quite nicely. It must Feng  shui or something

I neither own nor desire a webcam.

Sorry. You will have to accept this old fashioned method.

Avocados, jam jars, sticks down wells, dogs paws.....

I am beginning to suspect white witchcraft,  you know what goes on in these wee rural villages!

I really want someone to make a T-Shirt or a flag that references the sticky stick and RAM jam jar etc

Imagine the knowing nods as you wander around the festival.

The co-op better not sell Avocados, in a drunken state I will think that Avocado on toast is a great idea for breakfast, next morning I will be found at the medical tent with a big fecking knife hanging off my thumb
