Only just signed up to here after lurking for the last few weeks. I'd like to thank you all for contributing to my constant obsession over the weather/state of the ground, you all seem like an absolutely lovely bunch. ?

Please come to the meet, we really are lovely. Odd, but lovely.

I think roughing it with the rest of the peasants is all part of the experience. Adds to the sense of community or "we're all in this together" I'd reckon

Hopefully I've not cursed us - I just picked up some Factor 30 from Aldi to go with some "hard Ground" tent pegs.

Wellies have been packed in CV (To appease the mud gods) but have been relegated to the storage unit under the bed. Hiking boots and Trainers have been cleaned and had an application of NikWax waterproofing.

All hail the two jars and fir-cone!
