The State Of The Ground.

I don't doubt there are reasons to prefer other forecasts, but I liked the look of this one as it seems perfect (ah, maybe that's the reason). 

It does sound potentially pretty unpleasant for those already on site on Monday though.

Hmm - get you over to the weather thread - TSOTG is for onsite ground reports and cute dog/cats and sticky stick things?

What does laying upside down on his back , farting represent? That is a common sight.

I'm working in one of the tractors this year and I don't think we're going to be busy, not like 2016 anyway! There is a contingency for any local farmers with tractors to come help if all hell breaks loose but I don't think that's going to happen now.

That thread has started to remind me why I thankfully realised some months ago that trying to have a rational convo with someone online about Brexit is a total waste of time!

(The thing still dragging me in being the fact that slight variations in the weather next weekend are significantly more important that Brexit.)

i came out to the garden this morning, it is beautifully sunny with birds tweeting. To find.....the gherkin jar had been vandalised. Who would do such a thing! I blame the cats next door or the pigeons ( we have very fat pigeons in Pitlton). Big Dog is not pleased. I’m not pleased with BD, who should have been on guard instead of laying in the grass farting. No report for the rainfall over the past 24 hours. The record is lost to the grass., never to be revealed.

It may take some time to get over this tragedy, it may not.
