It was forecast. We knew it was coming, and it’s not this remember.

Lots of time to dry off. We’ve had gallons of rain in the Pennines and it’s still barely taking a stud so it’ll be good to go with a couple of breezy days

That's from 2016.

A friend flew over the site the other day, perks of the job he said.

Looks like the avalon inn has moved to the bottom corner of the field so the new wood structure is facing the main stage.

Good spot. Maybe to make more room for people exiting Block 9 at night.

Looks like two bands of rain are split around the Pilton forcefield.

Thats one tasty storm on the corner of France tho:

That tasty storm managed to pop across the channel to Eastbourne, and we had a magnificent 90 minute electrical storm with hundreds of lightning strikes and some absolutely torrential rain which I viewed from a pub garden with a beer in my hand! Beautiful, dramatic, like the very end of days. We had it, so Pilton didn’t have to ??

Thank you , although as mr splodge said it was a v damp and soggy day on site yesterday I am ssooo glad we dodged the big storm / thunder . For the first time yesterday my (cheap ) waterproof walking boots got wet through (guess they are not waterproof then ) so it’s back to wellies today ... we are walking through the grass a lot and not on the paths

it’s just started raining again ... just spitting but wet stuff never the less !!
