Regarding the MF comment, probably all eyes back on RATM.

Don't read that much into it. There is no single indication of RATM Europe dates. The Motherfucker line could also be Idles or, more likely, no band reference at all.

This actually doesn't look like a primavera move much at all. It sorta feels forced and unnecessary considering that Gabi indicated the first half of December for the line up. There is probably gonna be a full tour announcement by a bigger artist tomorrow that plays Primavera so they have to do some sort of announcement.

I imagine because both bbk and mad cool both have lineups out as of tomorrow and both selling tickets. Primas  had less than great selling last year they want to get ahead of this.

Drop a couple of confirmed names, couple small, some medium and one or two big names and that will tide sales over until the full poster.

So much competition in Spain.

I think this announcement makes him less likely. There's more than one month between the two festivals, would he stay touring that much in Europe ? Yes he could go back and forth but it doesn't sound likely to me

Also this means that, as rumoured, he'll play BBK. I don't see how BBK could share their main headliner with a bigger competitor in the same country, where he would play a month before...I see how they could ( and will  ) share smaller acts, but not Kendrick in my opinion

I reall hope I'm wrong though ahah

Kendrick for BBK makes tons of sense

I'm still bummed about Anderson .Paak being in Mad Cool, but hopeful he'll come to Primavera as well (was rumored to play Europe at the end of May, I think @Rico_Pliskin came up with it?)

Yeah it's still rumoured. He is playing a fest which is on the June Bank Holiday weekend that shares with Prima.

They announced one act already which was on the list of bands that I had which turned out true.

I think it's possible with Lamar. Arcade Fire was whole two months in europe summer 17. He can make music, take a holidays here or just concerting.

Keep hope!

What names are we expecting then?

Lana Del Rey, Chromatics, Faith No More, Weyes Blood, Bad Bunny, Caribou, Taylor The Creator, Wilco, a major pop act and an old indie band reforming surprise. Something like that?

Hoping for Glass Animals, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and Whitney from All Points Easts line-up two weeks before Primavera.
