Now we can say that in four months time it will be time to book tickets for the festival eight months later, the 50th in eleven months from the end of the one in a few weeks!! ?

I had this same problem, I was a bad friend and informed him of my choice as me and my fiancé have been looking forward to the 50th before they got engaged also informed them of our intentions to go Glastonbury 50th which happens to be my GF 30th before they set there date......... Only advice I can give is you gotta  follow your heart only get this life once do what you enjoy ?
