It feels fresh and exciting, and the most "contemporary" edition of the festival for quite a while. For me, it's basically got a huge Prodigy-sized hole blown in it. That would have been the big-hitter that would have excited me. (My attitude also slightly confused by the fact that the two headliners I want to see - The Chems and The Cure - I'm seeing a couple of weeks later at Nos Alive.) I pulled out of my resale group as a result of the line up (they all got tickets) as I felt the cash outlay wasn’t quite worth it for the craic alone. I think what has happened here is that you mainly like indie rock and don’t realise that’s just your taste.
