Travelling by bus so can't take huge quantities this year, but think I'm going to aim for:

  • 4 fruit ciders (each morning Thurs-Sun)
  • Vodka for 4 bloody marys (each morning Thurs-Sun)
  • 500ml gin (G&Ts Weds-Sun)
  • 500ml rum (rum & mixer Weds-Sun)
  • 5 Thatchers Haze (Weds-Sun)
  • 5 undecided craft beers (Weds-Sun)
  • 10 lagers (Weds-Sun)

Lots of talk of bringing lager... are you sure? Surely ciders and ales (even pale ones) survive being away from the fridge much better.

Tribute, Dead Pony Club and Kopparberg are my usual Glasto session can choices, spiced up with a smattering of stronger stuff.

So far we have

20 x thatchers haze

1 x litre of pineapple cube vodka

1x litre of cola cube vodka

Probably will need more ciders and a few easy to drink cocktail in a cans too.

I tend to buy a couple cold ones each day too.

Would you pre mix the alcohol and just add the coffee on site? Or separate bottles and make as you go. Could make cold brew and bring it with you?

I pre-mix vodka and Kahlua at home then add to milk or coffee on site to make White Russians and Espresso martinis. We just make coffee at camp.

I also pre-mix some vodka and Chambord then add to pineapple juice on site to make French Martinis. Having ice available at the Co-Op last year made cocktails easier than usual

FAO those who like Espresso Martinis:

I found these at Sainsburys today. I didn’t buy any but I will next time I’m in and do a taste test. They were about £3.20 so pricy!

Done the final final shop, here's what I'll be bringing, mixers bought on site.

12 Brew Dog Elvis Juice  330ml

12 Kopparberg Mixed Fruits 330ml

8 Mixed Cocktail Cans

1L Vodka

1L Spiced Rum

3L Boxed Red Wine

Just about fits into a bag for life and isn't silly heavy to carry.

Wrap the handles with bubble wrap and tape in place- makes a big difference on your hands

These look perfect, had a quick google and they're available online from their website, free shipping if you order 12 (can mix and match flavours) and it comes to £39, so £3.25 a can. Not bad

The Moth ones are absolutely gorgeous 😍 bloody expensive but a kick in the face coffee hit with the warmth of the alcohol hit a few seconds later - would 100% recommend as a breakfast treat!

Yes, they were my treat at last years festivals, the Khalua ones are hideous for the record!

Not exactly the same flavour as a mixologist mixed espresso martini but very pleasant and in no way vile 😉

I sampled the funkin nitro espresso martini and thought it was vile. I saw the moth ones in Tesco last week but the price put me off, might have to just go for it though

Yeah I’ve had those recently and they’re very grim, the other funkin stuff is quite nice, especially the pina colada one

I usually take:

A case of some fruity cider, usually kopparberg

4 litres of amaretto, buy cold diet coke there to add it to.

That's usually enough, along with frequent trips to the brothers cider tent!

That's been my experience too. The Moth ones seem to be getting good reviews though so I'll give them a go

Obvs it's a matter of taste and everyone is dif bit I found them to be really UHT milk heavy - I bought as I had previously enjoyed the Baileys latte canned drink but that seems to be discontinued - give them a try you might enjoy 😉
