I used to work with Royal Mail, Glastonbury tickets were done as a special project, with the addresses being sorted using loading software, the tickets then being sent out in batches based on RMs network capacity, so that they do not swamp any specific Mail Centre or Delivery Office. Each MC and DO gets a daily list of what to expect.

I got mine this morning.

So I have received mine but the parking pass wasn’t included.

Have others got the parking pass?

Mine just arrived, happy days!  Included the parking pass, folded over between the tickets.

Yes, that’s the e mail in,  feeling a lot more relaxed now!

In fact I am happy they weren’t delivered today. It’s absolutely pissing down here and the postie and his precious cargo were getting soaked this morning.  The thought of soggy tickets is a terrible prospect!  Now to crash the post office tracker!

You could have run out with an umbrella to help him....by sheltering his post bag from the elements, whilst he still got a good soaking!

    • I guess we should also not underestimate that the Slowdive sound person is probably not quite used to open-air daytime performances in such a large, open area. 🙂 I imagine it's very different from mixing the sound in a tent. Plus, even though I was openminded about it at first - you never know how things might sound or work out in a different setting if you don't try - I just don't think their sound is very suited for this kind of setting, it really benefits from darkness and a nice light show and all that. Still, nice that they got to give it a try.
    • i agree, was really disappointed by the Slowdive sound (we were fairly close to the podium) also if you consider that for all other main stage acts i saw they got it perfectly right.
    • Thanks man for sharing your thoughts. I would say i generally agree with you and do agree people close to the podium should position themselves further back if they want to have full conversations and apparently are not interested in the music; to fair it is mind boggling these people are even there as chatting gets so much easier in the back field. That said i did not really have the same experience as you, front rows for example at MBV, Men I trust, Big Thief, NewDad, Slowdive, where really into the music.    yes i BBK is really high on our list but we just realized it is next year 25 years of Primavera so perhaps we do one more.
    • When does the Thursday lineup get announced? I see they had Moonchild Sanelly and Young Knives last year, would be cool to get something along those lines again.
