Hi everyone,

I went to see the Fat White Family yesterday in Liverpool and spoke to Lias who confirmed that they’re gonna be playing on the Park Stage on Sonntag afternoon, tres excitement. He said he’d be DJing elsewhere doing a bit of acid house under another name too

This may have been confirmed elsewhere and apologies if so!

On the Sunday afternoon?  How did you hear about that?  I was probably at Chic and Robin Gibb, tbf.

This forum in advance! I'd actually totally forgotten by the Sunday, but I saw a slightly larger than average crowd and he happened to be playing Beats International as we were walking past and my brain clicked!

We managed to walk up there about 1 minute after he finished playing, typical!

Between that being 2017 and Robin Gibb being dead, you probably weren’t. :P

They did the same slot in 2015. Went to go see it but got distracted by a Fatboy secret set in the Stonebridge Bar.

You didn’t miss a whole lot. They went off after about 35mins of their hour.

Rumour I heard later on here that they had the plug pulled and were escorted off the site when Lias got his knob out. Was back on Park Stage with Moonlandingz in 2017 tho (and this year now too) so I’m not sure if that is completely true.

Pretty sure this isn't true, because they were all side of the stage watching The Fall later on in the day.

Oh, I heard that too - though I kept conflating it with that story about Mark E Smith (funnily enough) and thinking the guy from FWF had wet himself on stage!

That’s an easily debunked rumour then. :D

He did. We all wet ourselves out of solidarity, Billy Madison style.

At The Moonlandingz gig in 2017, Lias was dressed like this and barefoot - he was pukking up throughout the gig and kept walking through it. He was very apologetic.

And yes, that is a cardboard box clingfilmed to his head - it came off about halfway through.

I’ve always thought it was a loaf of bread cling filmed to his head! Marvellous gig though, shame the BBC never filmed it
