I never thought I would ever be the person to ask this question, but, here we are.

I'm running a half marathon in October, and my training plan will require to me do 2, maybe 3 runs during the festival. I'm thinking, up early, get it done.

Has anyone else had to do this, or does anyone choose to go for a run at the festival?

(I'm running for Teenage Cancer Trust if anyone is feeling flush :) https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/TheRealMcCor)

I could be tempted. I do run, but I'm not at all fast, I'm looking at that 5k but possibly could do further if you're interested. But also as the others have said a weekend off 4 months out won't really derail your plan.

Ignore the training plan. That's so far out from the half, not running will have zero effect unless you're planning to dip under 70 minutes I'd say. By all means go for a run, if you want, but don't get "scheduled" into one. Good luck!
