Young team love him. I liked Diamonds in the mud when he played at Kendal last year. His laughing between songs gets annoying. He’ll be wearing a bunnet so hair style won’t be a factor ? I just don't see the festival falling for the hype enough to give him an other stage slot, most acts with one album and no big hit singles tend to play John Peel or lower. SG87
He is playing - don’t know what stage though. I’d guess either JPT or Other. And it’ll be bouncing.

Fair point. I remember watching Jake Bugg at the pyramid of an afternoon in 2013 and to this day I’m stunned at the size of his crowd. I take your point but I’m guessing a large crowd in front of the Other stage.

Really can’t stand him or a large portion of his fans. I live across from the Hydro in Glasgow and I’ve never seen anything like the nick of the crowd that left Gerry Cinnamon/ Courteeneers gig there. Im guessing the same will happen at Glastonbury but I might be wrong. Time will tell.

JoeyT
I do find it odd that folks on here tend to attack certain genres of music and then the people who like it. Where does this snobbery / perceived hierarchy come from?

Think george Ezra if he had went to Borstal instead of public school and drank buckfast instead of Beaujolais

But the other 10%, they're the same... but only as long as you like the 'right' type of music.

chrislfc
He's a true phenomenon. He's got a crowd like I haven't seen since early Oasis days. Whether that crowd translates to a festival is another matter. I think it probably would to be honest as enough people will be on to him by now. EamerRed
I actually think an afternoon slot in the John Peel would be brilliant for him, and the inevitable great atmosphere.
