Is there a hill in the Pyramid field

Could someone confirm whether there is a hill at the back of the Pyramid field.

depends what you mean by a hill.

The ground slopes upwards from the stage.

A friend said there is a hill, however in the 5 years that I have been I can not recall one.

Yeah the whole field slopes down towards the stage from the back. It’s steeper past the tree.

It's upward from the pyramid stage to back of the field, pretty much all the way the site boundary...

Have to be seriously wonky not to notice for five years ?

Five years?  I'm presuming the OP hasn't been to the festival before. On that basis it's a reasonable, if unusual question.

There’s a big slope...which helps to make it a good place to watch an act from further back

it's been quite a while since i have been to the pyramid stage, but yeah it's a slope.. nothing like that big bastard when you are getting in.

When you get to the end/back of the Pyramid field, you get to the camping bits and there's a hill going up towards the farm, Mary's Gate etc, and down towards Williams Green.

We only litter pick uphill. So yes. (we get completely confused on a flat surface and just mill about)

Thank you all. I am clearly wrong in that it is not flat. But also not a hill. I will try to be less wonky this year and take note of my surroundings a little more.

Took this yesterday - definitely agree with a gentle slope all the way up the field, so you definitely end up being higher at the back. Perfect field for a stage!

I fell down that slope of mild inconvenience during The Rolling Stones.... I turned to head to the toilets up by the farm and gravity (and cider) pulled me backwards..
