If people had to pay the full balance upfront, do people think there would be as many going back in the pot?

Now I am not advocating changing the system but the amount going back seems a little excessive. Its as if people are just taking a punt rather than really wanting to go.

For our 1 that put back it was a purely circumstances issue, he's been to all the Glastonbury's with us. So no I don't think paying upfront would change it

I'm sure there would be a lot less going back in the pot but then you would end up with people going who don't really want to go and us sat at home.

I think the system is fine as it is mate even though I failed this time to get a ticket. Just thought it was an interesting side note.

The system is the fairest it can possible be. I missed out this time but will be retrying in the resale. I missed out last time as well but got lucky in the resale.

I'm starting to feel a bit more hopeful now, although I wonder what the % trying will be compared to October?  I'm assuming people will have got working positions or arranged to do something else instead so the demand might not be as high, fingers crossed!
