Am I right that if you pay separately from those you booked with, then you pay £8.95 . If you pay all 6 in one go then it’s one £8.95? 

Or do you avoid the multiple fee by having all tickets sent to one address?

My fellow festival goers are relying on me to be organised and are sending me the cash to pay.

I guess I'll cop for 2 postages though.

You each will have to pay the £5.00 booking fee. If you pay as a group there will be just one post and packing fee of £8.95 and all the tickets will be sent to the same address.

Yes, that's correct, no way of avoiding 2 lots of postage sadly.
