Rufus Gwertigan
Tried to revive the old thread but has been archived and can't post. Anywho am I the only one that is getting a little moist for the 15th April. The trailers look awesome.
Hugh Jass
To be honest I've lost interest in it a little, I'll watch it to the end because I want to see what happens (Bronn as king of everything is the correct outcome) but I feel it's lost its way a little over the last couple of series. I prefer the politicking, scheming and squabbling of the early series to endless shots of ice zombies.
Hugh Jass
Oh and don't get me started on Arya sweeping a fucking floor for ten episodes!

I’m sure that Cersei will add some needed conspiring/scheming but overall humans vs. zombies isn’t really that interesting, and the moment the writers had to veer away from the books the cracks began to show. Still though, with only 6 episodes left it’s just gotta go full throttle throughout... right?!
fred quimby
Well I can't wait. It is indeed all about the Dead verses the Living now but fuck me it is going to be epic. See Martin is holding off on another TV series of his spin off books until he has finished them all ( so long after I am dead)
Wooderson
The books will never get finished.
Hugh Jass
Looking at George these days it'll be a miracle if he makes it to the end of the TV series, yet alone the books.
Hugh Jass
Seriously though, if Bronn doesn’t at least get a Castle by the end I’m fucking rioting.
The Nal
I know someone who worked on the show when they were in Ireland. Cersei gets killed in the first episode.

bunique
Yay it’s back! Sansa versus Danaerys is going to be fun.
FloorFiller
Welp there goes my notion that they couldn’t spend the usual first episode of everybody arriving in the places they need to be and fucking about what with there only being 6 episodes this season. The NEXT episode it’s gonna well and truly kick off then, right!?

Wooderson
Script was clunkier than a Lada. Head in my hands at times.
1986
I am worried about the pace of some of the plots but overall I'm pleased to have it back. I'm thinking we see House Glover get walkered to shit next week.
fred quimby
I enjoyed it. good to be back in the seat. Normal first episode setup with a few plots moving on. Visual feast though I did come down to breakfast this morning though and there was creepy boy Bran in the Garden in his chair just looking. Hugh Jass
Last night was a great episode, even though nothing was actually happening it felt incredibly tense.

Surely if you’re facing an enemy who can control the dead sticking everyone in a sealed chamber full of them is a daft idea?

You could say the same about the first one too, and I've really enjoyed both. And it's all building up to next week and the "biggest battle ever" which will look amazing, but 15 minutes in with no idea what's going on and lots of noise and blood and gore and I'm probably going to be bored of it
Rufus Gwertigan
Am I the only one feeling a little uncomfortable watching Arya (Maisie Williams) strip off? I feel for her like a daughter and that is one thing I need not see.
FloorFiller
Enjoyed this weeks a lot more than last despite still not an awful lot happening, but I do worry how they’re gonna wrap everything up in a satisfying way with only 4 episodes left. I thought they’d be six fast paced packed episodes, but they still seem content to meander quite a bit. Lots of loose ends and characters I can see not really being tied up.
