Ive been trying to keep up and I know its NME so obviously sourced from elsewhere and not discussed ( which im glad of ) ... but Robbie Williams ?.... might just be a clickbait article ... https://www.nme.com/news/music/robbie-williams-reveals-ambition-headline-glastonbury-2560031

“I’d like to headline and that’s what I’d like to do, if I did anything,” he said. “As far as I know, nothing is in the air for that. But they know where I am if they need me. I don’t want to do the legends slot, though.”

Thanks for ruling yourself out Robbie.

Don’t think it will though. I reckon he’ll go the same way as James Blunt.

Aye, Ezra is inevitable at this point and I think he will headline whenever he releases his third album. I’d say Sam Fender is more likely to eventually headline Glastonbury than Lewis Capaldi.

Disagree with this, Capaldi will go way further than Fender IMO. Fender is a bit too “indie” to go too far whilst Capaldi is everywhere. He’s crossed into the mainstream the same way Sheeran and Ezra have. You won’t hear Sam Fender on Heart FM for instance.

Robbie in virtually the same position as me as it turns out.

I'd consider the legends slot though if it came down to it or nothing.

Sam Fender has the better music though but yes I get the point. He is massive up here though. Will be interesting to see how he does over the next year or so. Plus he did beat Capaldi to the Newcomer Brit (Not that it means much)
