My gut instinct response is:

Blur

Elbow

Elton John 

But this may be subject to change once I’ve mulled it over for a while.

Why would you put a headliner announcement in your book, what if for whatever reason they drop out and forever that statement is wrong in the book.

I'd cover my bases and just have a quote about who you would love to see headline and name drop your headliner that way, funny you say that, here is the Saturday headliner.

Surely with it being the 50th, they'll go for a "heritage" act? It seems like it is Elton's time to me.

I appreciate I’m firmly in the minority here but I would love it if The 1975 were one of the headliners. Can’t really see it though as people seem fairly confident on Taylor Swift and I reckon they’d have the other 2 be older acts for the 50th.

Nah I reckon The 1975 have got to be the next most likely candidates after Taylor Swift, it's really rare for them to have 2 oldies in the same year. As with every year they can only book the band's they can get, and if that happens to be Taylor, Loose Women Jr, and somebody else then that who they'll get.

I found it interesting that NME were pushing their agenda of legends and bands yet completely skipped Taylor Swift.

Taylor who is extremely likely to perform over the weekend, Sunday more likely than Saturday.
