They headlined Reading/Leeds last year mate. They’re not gonna be on the John Peel.

1975 were on equal billing with Foo Fighters, Florence & Ed Sheeran at Sziget so you can argue they have the ability to headline. They were definitely one of the weaker headliners of that week though. I could see them headlining the other stage but not the pyramid. There are too many bigger names being thrown around right now for that slot.

Headlining Leeds/reading is nowhere near like headlining the pyramid and come on the Leeds/reading line ups are pretty poor these days. I just don’t think they’re ready sorry bro

Big fan of Kasabian up to and including Lunatic Asylum album. Everything they’ve done after has been average at best. Really really good live band though.

Yeah but those big names are nonsense being thrown around in hope by us because we're over excited and there isn't anything solid. The 1975 are way more likely to headline than Led Zeppelin or The Rolling Stones.
