We’ve officially peaked. 

Can’t wait for The Mac being announced on the lineup as a seated show. And us all sitting cross legged in front of the pyramid.

Would be great if Fleetwood Mac wheeled out Peter Green for a couple of original classics. Black magic woman, green manalishi, oh well.

Extremely unlikely of course but maybe glasto is a place where dreams can come true..

Depends on the gig innit.  If it's a rock show probably not, if it's Joanna Newsom or Sufjan Stevens then probably aye.

Not happening that. A god chunk of the crowd would be baffled as well as they’re basically 2  different bands. I don’t particularly want them to play after the whole Lindsey Buckingham palava, wouldn’t be the same without him. Do they still play Big Love the same way? Surely not?

Now that the Buckster's been binned they've actually started playing Oh Well again.  Didn't happen when he was in the band.

And even then it depends on the mood Sufjan is in.

I love an all seated gig, so does my lower back.

Imagine if it was all just one massive publicity stunt and then Buckingham bounces out with his 3 million fingers to play Big Love. Then in the blink of an eye spins round and sweeps Stevie Knicks off her feet and walks off stage with her like Richard Gere in an Officer & A Gentlemen.

"wheeled out" is the right term for P Green anyway, I went to see him with my dad in the 00s (all seated) and he looked like a taxidermy being puppeted from offstage. It's frankly amazing that he's still alive... Or so it would seem.

A man can dream.

How about the University of California marching band then for tusk? What a way that would be to mark the 50th anniversary. About 30 people on stage, that big brass crescendo drawn out for 10 mins or so in the final song of the encore. It would be bombastic.

Buckingham is a big loss though, thats true.

Glad I got to see them on their return, was too young first time around.

Give it five years for the bills to start piling up and they’ll be back.

I wouldn't think so. The money they made from the reunion and getting their name back out there will have them set for life.

I had a ticket for Spike Island but couldn’t go. Never did see them, obviously plenty of opportunities of late but it didn’t feel the same.

Spike Island was notoriously not a good gig, but would still be a nice one to have on the CV.
