I like the Cure very much but am by no means an expert. I saw them headlining Roskilde a number of years ago and they were fantastic. They played for three hours. They started with an hour of new-ish stuff (I think), then long atmospheric songs and they finished with an hour of hits. And they just kept coming. You forget how many songs of them you know.

I reckon they are going to be great (they’d better be as I don’t think much of the other headliners!).

Shit. This is hard but I think Private Psychedelic Reel just pips Sunshine Underground with Surface to Air coming in a very close 3rd.

Also, this one is hard .... MAH will go off and is a banger; Private Psychedelic Reel is the archetypal Chems track; HBHG is a tune; but for me, Clive, it has to be Golden Path ...

There may not be a clear winner here as nearly everybody is saying a different track. I think that's testament to the fact that they've never rested on their laurels and relied on past glories. They just keep banging them out.

 

Oh, and the videos. Always a work of art.
