AtomsForPizza
Seeing as the first announcement for 2018 was made in April last year, anyone have any idea who might be booked this year? Here are my random guesses, some more likely than others! The Strokes Vampire Weekend Mitski Kurt Vile Solange Pond Panda Bear Cass McCombs Maggie Rogers James Blake Sharon van Etten
birchtree29
The Strokes are already at Lollapalooza Paris. They will not be there.

scatteredscreens
I'm guessing the Chromatics will be there, playing Italy around the dates of the festival, and were also used in a Twitter ad for the event.
xxialac
Having the Thursday dedicated to hip hop has killed my interest. If I'm going all the way to Paris it's for the 3 days.

scatteredscreens
https://www.festicket.com/festivals/pitchfork-music-festival-paris/2019/ Line up at the bottom, only a couple of acts there I'd be interested in seeing - doesn't look anywhere as good as previous years

Wouldn't go if tickets were free.

Rico_Pliskin
Guess I won't be buying a ticket.
aidenlangan95
I went two years ago for full price and really enjoyed it. Went last year where I got 2-4-1 tickets (which actually ended up being VIP tickets) and loved it. But this lineup doesn't really inspire me to get on the eurostar and have a weekend away in Paris; think I'll just stick to seeing Hot Chip in December! xxialac
Surely they are going to struggle to sell tickets to the point where it is half empty. Doesn't either have a big name or strength in depth.

They are really amazing as a magazine and as a crew as well. Agar Agar and Corine would go nice with Chromatics, Desire and In Mirrors.

Since it was bought out by Conde Nast it's got a lot more mainstream and moved away from its indie roots. It's going behind a paywall at the end of the year too. I think the same name is the missing headliner at Club To Club so I'd rule out Aphex Twin, but I'm always wrong so you can count on him
